In the timeless city of Macondo, seven generations of the Buendía family navigate love, oblivion, and the inevitability of their past and destiny. This is Netflix’s most expensive project in Latin America to date, with the participation of Colombian groups and indigenous communities who construct the series’ props and decorations. One Hundred Years of Isolation 🌿Story: The series, based on the famous novel of the same name by Gabriel García Márquez, revolves around "José Arcadio Buendía" and "Ursula Iguaran," two relatives who leave their village in search of a new home, marrying against the wishes of their parents. Accompanied by friends and adventurers, their journey culminates in the founding of a virtuous city on the banks of a prehistoric river of stones called Macondo. Many generations of the Buendia dynasty will determine the future of this legendary city, tormented by madness, impossible love, absurd bloody war and the fear of a terrible curse that will rule them for a hundred years of isolation. In the first episode, it was clear that I was embarking on an impressive work that truly exceeded my expectations. And each episode made me excited to see the next one..The sequence of events is wonderful, orderly and calm, and its clarity for every detail and bias, and it gave a wonderful feeling. Everything is perfect, the performances, sounds and atmosphere are consistent and wonderful..To be honest, a very wonderful series, and it did not disappoint me, it is very pleasant..
